We have been training Nature-Connected Coaches since 2008. Our students have ranged from the early 20s to late 60s, and from complete beginners to those who are advanced coaches and even Psychologists and Therapists with decades of clinical therapy experience!
Nature-Connected Coaching is currently being applied in fields such as: Life Coaching, Health and Wellness Coaching, Executive and Business Coaching, Wilderness Therapy, k-12 Education, Education Reform, Family Coaching, Leadership Development, Wilderness Rites of Passage, and more. And some students just take the training for their own personal transformation - to help them figure out what is next in their lives as they transition from careers that aren't fulfilling.
Each student comes with their own unique set of goals and dreams that they hope to achieve by completing our program. The one thing we all have in common is a Vision for the future that calls us to be a part of the solution for the planet through coaching and guiding others.

1. Complete the Foundations Intensive.
At the end of the foundations, your connection to Nature will be stronger than ever. You will feel part of an amazing cohort of committed and inspiring individuals. And, you can start seeing clients because you will have a strong understanding of our 3-part process for how to facilitate Nature-Connected Coaching.
This method is the best way to help your clients achieve their goals and experience meaningful transformation through Nature.

- You can attend Foundations either online or camping at our wilderness location deep in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
2. Complete the four Toolbox Intensives.
The Toolbox intensives are deep dives into understanding how and why Nature-Connected Coaching works. Additionally, you will learn and practice advanced nature-connection skills and powerful supportive modalities like Gestalt Therapy, Partswork, Somatic Trauma Awareness, and working with grief and loss.

- NCC is delivered through experiential and adventure-based education. In other words, get ready to learn by doing!
3. Develop your coaching skills and build your practice.
Actually, this begins right away through one-to-one mentoring, extensive business coaching, practice groups and weekly coach trainings.
NCC offers you an International Coaching Federation (ICF) approved coach training curriculum that is nature focused and teaches coaches to perform at a Professional Certified Coach level. It results in an professional credential that is internationally recognized and allows you to coach others all over the world!
